In this section you will find the methods used by the website to manage the personal details of its users. This information is supplied in accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 - Code on the matter of the protection of personal data to those who use the web services of Banca del Piemonte, accessible via computer at http://www.bancadelpiemonte.it, corresponding to the homepage of the Bank’s official website.

The information is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 implemented by the European authorities for the protection of personal data, reunited in the Group set up by art. 29 of directive no. 95/46/CE, on 17 May 2001, to identify certain minimum requirements for the on-line collection of personal data.

THE “HOLDER” OF THE PROCESS

Following the consultation of this website, data relating to identified or identifiable persons can be processed. The “holder” of the data process is Banca del Piemonte s.p.a., with registered offices in Turin, Via Cernaia 7, 10121.

DATE PROCESSING LOCATION

The processes connected with the web services of this website take place at the aforementioned offices of the Bank and are carried out only by the technical staff of the data-processing department, or by staff appointed to perform occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The IT systems and software procedures used for this website acquire, during their normal exercise, certain personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected for association to identified parties but, by their very nature, could, when processed and associated with data held by third parties, enable identification of the users. This category of data includes IP addresses or dominions of the computers used by users of the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numeric code indicating the status of the server’s reply (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. This data is only used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct operation, and is regularly deleted.

The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical IT crimes damaging the website: save this eventuality, the current procedure maintains a record of web contact data for a maximum of seven days.

Data supplied voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail to the addresses indicated on this website implicates the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is needed to answer the latter’s requests, as well as any other personal data included in the mail.

COOKIES

No use is made of cookies for the transmission of personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracing users, used. Sessions cookies which persist exclusively for the duration of navigation on the website are used, inasmuch as necessary to the correct operation of said navigation on the website.

In accordance with the same article, they are entitled to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blockage of data processed in breach of the law, and to oppose its processing, for legitimate reasons.
