In 1947, Camillo Venesio established Banca di Casale e del Monferrato in his hometown of Casale.
Camillo Venesio was the man behind the first big developments ad successes, creating a privileged relationship with small and medium enterprises, artisans and traders, thanks to his simple, quick and efficient way of operating.
Camillo Venesio’s son, Vittorio, today’s Honorary Chairman, completed the merger of the two banks (Banca Anonima di Credito and Banca di Casale e del Monferrato) in 1978, creating Banca del Piemonte.
Camillo Venesio, grandson of the founder, after whom he is named, is the current Managing Director and General Manager who, along with a group of professional and highly motivated young managers, is now at the helm of developments, with respect for the values that represent the Bank’s historical roots.
